Add hood ornament to 2014 E-class sports edition?

Add hood ornament to 2014 E-class sports edition?
Is there a way to add the traditional hood ornament to a 2014 E-class sports edition? For example, replace that nub ... with the traditional mercedes star I buy off of eBay?

torjan , thanks for your taking time and trouble posting the links you provided
A few days ago, I saw a W204 Avantgarde with that huge MB logo on the grill as the OPs car and the owner put a standing MB logo onto the hood . May be I am biased but it did really look nice and not a gaudy stuff that brings your car down .
Still, that grill sweeps away all the pompousness of the car this is why Elegance versions are the way to go along with Avantgarde rear end lol

BenzV12 you are welcome, in my point of view the new shape of the E-class is too sportive for my taste. I like the elegant charm in the old E class that start to disappear with the sportive major look of other brand (BMW 5 and Audi A6). For these reason I think the Mercedes emblem bonnet will be better than the traditional hood

Now the issue is that the entire architecture of the W212 is still pretty nostalgic and upright/boxy/stately and the front is this mashed in sportier thing than what we had on the pre-facelift.
Which brings me to the point of a Star on the hood of the new front.... unfortunately it just wouldn't work nor look right on the "smiley face" sportier intended grille treatment. As well, you can't put a standup Star WITH a Star grille. Big no no.
If they made a mod to put a Luxury style grille onto the Sport model without the big Star on the grille so you can put the Star on the hood back on (and I'm not talking about the Luxury model), it would make me a happy E-lineage fan.
IMO the standup Star gave the E a classic and *tastefully* old-world charm and cachet that made it unique from so many cars on the road. I mean, what other brand can get away with a standup badge these days? M-B should be damn proud of it and stop letting the marketing-dept force them to be ashamed of it. Instead they put out this tacky and ghetto-fab "light-up Star" to appear when you lock or unlock your doors.

If the sport grill and the lux grill were interchangeable then the sport body styling with the standing star and starless slated grill might look good.
The standing star with the huge star grill does not look very appealing...

When I ordered my 2014 E350, I specifically asked for a luxury grill on the sport suspension and was told the factory isn't offering that. So, I ordered the sport and the look from the inside is exactly what I wanted.
From the outside, I see more heads turn when a sport version drives by than with the luxury version grills.
I'm expecting to be perfectly happy with the sport version that now just crossed into US waters tonight, unloads tomorrow and is in my garage 10 days later!

Hey Ajax Lesser, did you ever swap out your hood emblem or front grill. I am looking to do the same thing (I need the upright star to make my wife's wreath on the front). I curious to know how it looks and get an owners perspective.
Also to anyone else, am I seeing it right that the flush emblems "pop in and out" with spring loaded clips and the upright stars "twist on" with the help of pliers? (I'm about to hit the buy button on an upright star.)
