W212 options question (center console buttons)

W212 options question (center console buttons)

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for a fully loaded w212 and this button has been driving me mad, as I can't seem to find its purpose

I'm talking 1 of the 4 buttons which contain the headrest drop, rear sunshade, and the parktronic. Specifically what is that blank button for? I can't seem to find it in any w212 even the e63's. You can see it in the second pic.

EDIT: and also what is this button blank under the eco/sport button

I'm coming from a 2008 E550 4matic, and am interested in its 2010-2011 counterpart. Or a fully equipped bluetec, but apparently they don't make ventilated seats, and parktronic is hard as hell to find (bluetec).

My guess, switch block under radio = ECO start/stop when made available (your photo may show auxiliary heater in this market); lower control panel beside COMAND = auxiliary heater.

Empty buttons are a cost cutting move as if your car doesn't have those options they just put blank buttons there. Back in the day Mercedes would much more elegantly put whole new panels on designed so as not to show empty buttons.
