Looking through this thread I feel like i over paid for my 14 E350. I turned in my 2011 ML350 last weekend for an E350 priced in 62,000. Leased it for 27 months with 10k miles a year for 610 a month. Everything rolled into the monthly payments, first month and DMV at signing. Oh well its only for 27 months.

I've never heard anyone get an E-class in the 300s or even 400s. My dad's maxima is in the 300s.

Quote: I just curious how are you going to deal with 27 months lease in term you pay registration for entire year but drive 3 months only? I assume it is simple dealer catch to get you off lease earlier and buy another car.
3 months pull ahead program is very common on MB. So there's a high chances that I'll get a new one at 24th month to avoid paying another year of registration. (I can always go to AAA to renew it on the spot with no lines)

You can also extend your lease by 3 months without credit check or 6 months if you let MBUSA run your credit again.

Seeing the same locally. I don't think you overpaid. I think it's what the market dictates around you. Rest easy and enjoy the car!

Most of these crazy 10-12k off deals are in CA where Mercedes dealerships are just within 4 miles apart from each other.

Local reps at 4 dealers said same thing. Those dealers are cut throat and make more money off of services and used than new deals.

Exactly. I turned it my E350 BTC with 49k payoff.
They bought it back from MBFS in high 30s. They flipped the car as CPO at $42k within 2 weeks. (I stalk on my old car on the dealer inventory site after I got my car)

MBFS ate the difference at the end and the dealer makes money again!

Just wondering, can someone from CA or FL confirm if these low lease deals are "one pay lease"? Did you pay a lump sum upfront for all 27 months or are the payments staggered?

If you made one sum of monthly payments, when i can confirm that we also have the same deals in NY. I was offered by the dealer but didn't see the benefit especially if the car was stollen or totaled.

Oh, and I not only called you cheap I called you self entitled as well...

I used to think that BMW owner image was the worst kind and while I loved my E90 I hated the image that came with the ownership. Now I'm beginning to wonder whether the MB image is any better or just as bad in a different way. Maybe MB owners aren't as pr-ickly as BMW owners but you sure are a whiny bunch with your panties in a twist...
So you got scared? I knew you are not a man. Go to your mother small boy.

Seriously.... what do you want me to do? Fly over to California to fight you? Are you really this neanderthal? Holy crap man, this is becoming Reddit material.... Scared is not the right word I'd use. I basically called you a cheap pathetic self entitled person based on your postings on a message board. And you rebutted to it by asking me to "fight". I have no idea what kind of fighting do you propose? Do I need to bring guns to this knife fight of yours or knuckles will suffice? Is this how you settle all your disagreements or differences of opinion? I sense English is not your native tongue and there might be something lost in translation for you...

How about I'll just kick your a-ss in any running distance from quarter mile to the marathon? You pick it and I'll deliver the a-ss kicking... I hope you see the ridicule in my, and especially your, post...

Easily offended crazy Russian (?) guy vs confrontational spoiled BMW-personality Texan, this should be good.

But really, let's have more of the pic posting, those posting redacted paperwork to prove their insane deals have been interesting. I'm about 11-12 months til pull forward time, will be interested to see what plays out, and what ammo can be used from here.

I think all of you who got more than $4600 off the MSRP should pay an extra "unnecessary gain" tax to the Government like 50% of the part in excess of the $4600.

When I bought my new 2011 E350 I only got $4600 off so I think that would be a good limit where the tax starts...

I also don't have dealers around me but one, next closest is 62 miles away. This should actually set off another tax for those of you who have more than one dealer within 61 miles...

tgseaver,

Can you tell me the dealer in CT? I've been shopping around in the Northeast and have started talking with Northhaven.

Thanks

I would be interested of hearing what kind of a deal you can make since the year changed already? Isn't a big factor in the good deal at the end of the year to have it done before the end of the year?

End of the year, beginning of the year, it all doesn't really mean anything. They need to sell as many of these cars as they can. The only quotas that need to be met are the infinite quotas.

Really?
I would have thought it is easier to get a deal at the end of the year.

I guess the operative word in your comment is "need". Goals are goals, and the world won't end if one of em isn't met. So yes, I agree...

However, I hope no one actually believes that ANY car dealership can keep the lights on let alone stay in business making $500 or $1k over "invoice" on a product as expensive as a car. MSRP AND invoice prices are an illusion to make their customers feel good about their investment. Don't forget, this is retail.

Dealers get payed, period. Whether it is trunk money or the mystical "sales incentives", there is more money flowing into their pockets than we'll ever really know about.

I believe that someone here posted something about the incentive for the year end on the west coast was half a million dollars for one tier of their target (I have no idea what their number or "bonus" is mind you, but just an interesting point of reference). I don't know about you, but I'd sacrifice a couple thousand dollars on some sales to get there. And, that is just for December.
