We just ordered a 350 also and had to get the 795 wheeIs too. I asked about some different wheels (they are on a silver car in the E brochure on one of the first few left handed pages) and was told that they are a dealer add on or part of an extra week package that we could not get. I even showed them to the first dealer we tried to order from and he insisted that they were the 795 wheels. I really never pressed the issue with the dealer we ordered from. We ordered ours around Nov 4 and I just got her birth certificate and it has 795 wheels.

Is this still happening today? I'm picking up a '14 cab today. I haven't actually seen the car as it was brought over from another dealer. The option code on the the wheels is 660 so I should have the new ones?

Just got my car in and of course it came with 795 rims (Thanks to the blockheads at my local dealer who said the 660 were actually 795). I did call and try to order the 660 rims and was told they were $785, ...a piece and had no idea when you could order them or much less get them. Anyone know of a wreck car with these rims or possibly somewhere else to get them? Other wise I'm looking for something else. These 795's are just too bright and "white looking" for nowadays.

My new 2014 came with the new rims but that was because you have to use the correct code, I believe its 794
The problem is the dealership. they are not always aware when they order the cars...

In reference to BacnMercedes query, in the OP's photo, the new style rims are on the left and the old are on the right, correct? I have the ones on the left. Personally, I think they both look great.

2014 E350 Wagon
Is your car a 4Matic? The code R08 indicates they are staggered wheels (MIXED TIRES) and they are usually not for 4matic. Then again the parts catalog could be wrong.
I found this using google and they list it as an R08 so it might be the AMG wheels it's just that the code they use is not the right one: http://autos.nj.com/Autos?tp=TR_nj&c...ile_id=2252205
Where did you get the code R08 from? What is the VIN number of the car?
Edit: There is this one too listing R08 but it also gives the proper 795 (matte silver staggered AMG) code for the wheels: http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...er_id=58144398
So yeah, those are probably the AMG 18" wheels, but from the VIN we could confirm for sure as it would list either 660 or 794 on the build sheet.

2013 E350 Sport Wagon - 4Matic
Yes, the car is a 4 Matic. It is a wagon BTW. I got the accessory option code of the sticker. I'll PM you the VIN.
They are not. The AMG wheels would be either code 660 or code 794 depending on finish.

I am with you Don, I have the 795/791 wheels...and I got super "lucky" too! IMO, they appear a lot "lighter weight" & make the car look cleaner.
I don't really care for the 660/794 wheels on a Mercedes, as they look "heavy" & remind me of the wheels that come on a new Honda Accord or GMC Terrain or something. They do, however, look great in their iteration on the facelifted GLK (maybe due the perception of ruggedness and heaviness).
If anyone is trying to get ride of their 791 wheels, I'll take the off your hands so I'll have a backup set.
