Still seeing 2014's with 2013 AMG rims !! What is going on?
Any thoughts on how long it will take to deplete the old wheel inventory?
Do you think a swap would happen?[

I'm not sure if they would swap wheels, but if it would make a sale, I don't see why not -- it's not technically a super big deal

So I'm not sure what it means but it seems like all the coupes are getting the news tyle while most of the sedans are getting the old style. BTW the price/option/stock number sequence had nothing to do with the two new ones in the sea of old ones on the E-350 sedans.

Code 660 (staggered) or 794 (non-staggered) are the "new" style.
Both styles are available for 2014 models, there's no "old stock" versus "new stock". Just make sure you order the correct wheel to suit your taste.

FWIW my wagon was ordered with option 794...

And the codes seem to be correct per this website:
http://www.mercedes-amg.com/customiz...section=eclass
Code 795 Staggered "old" FA: 8.5 J x 18 ET48, tire size 245/40 R18 RA: 9 J x 18 ET54, tire size 265/35 R18
Code 791 Non-staggered "old" 8.5 J x 18 ET48, tire size 245/40 R18
45.7 cm (18-inch) AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, front: 255/40 R 18 on 8.5 J x 18 ET48, rear: 265/35 R 18 on 9 J x 18 ET54 (Code 660, not available for 4MATIC models)
45.7 cm (18-inch) AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels with high-sheen finish, 255/40 R 18 on 8.5 J x 18 ET48 (794, for 4MATIC models)
So it seems like they not only look different they are physically different too, the "new style" being wider moving from 245/40 to 255/40. The "New style" is part of the AMG appearance package.
