Comfort Box Malfunction

I've had my second 14 E350 for about three weeks and noticed the comfort box doesn't zip up all the way when you click the button. Anyone know how to fix this? Stopped by service real quick and they said I need to setup an appointment since from simple observation they couldn't tell exactly what was up....

You can remove the comfort box (instructions ....if you don't want to stay for the service. Just give them the box and let them fix it. They can quickly install it in one of their cars if necessary.

I know this is off topic, but what is a comfort box? I didn't have anything that zipped up in my 2011 e350, so Im curious of what this is.

Oh thank God! I had visions of it being some sort of built-in emergency toilet.

Then again, looking at that video......hmmmmmmmm..........

Wonderful, I'll look into this more on how to unscrew the box itself and drop it off for them. Thank you very much for the advice!

My comfort box rattles. I need to find some grease to lube those rubber ends.

My apologies to qtip who was seeking help for a legitimate issue.

Oh well, at least I now know what a "Comfort Box" is.

Sold it to a family member. I do that quite often

That's fine, the name was confusing to me to when I first decided to purchase one on my 2013. Ever since then my wife uses this item when we go shopping. Checked with dealership yesterday while on vacation and they are going to replace it today. They said it was under warranty so I have no complaints. Hopefully there's no issues and I strictly told them to not do any "courtesy" diagnosis and just replace the box. I don't like people messing with my car.
