Possible e550 4matic owner

Hey guys.
This past summer I traded my e63 for a 911 turbo. Was excited and fun at first but I had a couple sports cars and no sedans, so the excitement wore off. Then someone came and bought the turbo off me so no Porsche anymore either. Realized I needed a sedan for just every day errands and taking the SUV or dura max was a pita.

So I started shopping for e-classes again. Kinda wanted a w211 e55 but stumbled upon a 2011 e550 4 matic. Loaded to p2 but no nightvision. It's got pano roof, and all the other gadgets which are fantastic. 38k miles, Blk on natural beige I think it's called (like a soft orange). Drove great, feels solid, plenty if power for what I'd need and awd for MN winters.

Are these fairly rare cars? Not many located within 300 mi of me. Are they reliable? Any big issues I should look out for?

Seller is asking 41k. What do you guys feel the market value is considering the options, miles and rarity?

Any of ther comments would be much appreciated.

interesting: I am selling my '11 e550 4m, but it has no pano roof or driver assist package, does have night vision though.......P2 blk blk blk etc HRE

price seems okay, although some might disagree, the options and the 4m make it seem like a good deal, plus there should be some warranty left on it too right? and the option to extend it?

I was going to ask for 45 for mine because of the three extra sets of wheels, the roof rack and other random stuff, mine has just over 40k on the odometer....just performed the service too, and new tires......1000 miles or so......

as to the driving: it's been rock solid!! a great car IMHO.....
and have loved driving it, good luck if you decide to go for it.....

off topic: also trying to sell my TT: did you make a good deal?
I'll miss the Porsche, but maybe someday I'll come back to one

I'm still debating on the e550. I'm looking at an s550, cts-V, and a couple other cars. So we'll see. I offered the guy money on it but he's pondering it over. The options on this car make it super appealing too. But I do need to put tires on it and do the service B0 for it. By the time I'm all said and done, I'm going to be 42 ish into it.

I do miss my 996tt, only had it for 3 weeks. Some guy rolled by my shop, saw it, wanted it and bought it for my asking price. Wasn't expecting it to go that quickly. Was weird.

What are you asking for your 997tt? What are the specs? May be interested.

Up your price range and shop for the 2012+. The engine is completely different and if you are already shopping for 4matics, it is well worth it.

Can't up my budget. Not when I'm still sitting on these other cars. Plus, this car is simply a daily driver. I imagine a 2012 will still continue to depreciate at a faster rate then the 2011 so that doesn't make sense either.

Once my Z06 sells, I'm in the market for a Gallardo, 997tt, R8, or GTR. Reserving my funds for the toy car.

Makes sense, but +20 HP, +50lbft tq, +15% better econ, ability to tune if desired... If it is available in your area, a low optioned 2012 E550 might not be far from mega optioned 2011 and will probably have less miles and more warranty, if that is a concern to you.
