I don't know, and I'm not sure my dealer's techs know either.

Can you check where your warning sounds come from, like the seat belt not being fastened when the gear is ON. If the sound indeed comes from the speakers then you can ask your service tech how this would be possible if the amp is bad? You might save some time getting it fixed...
My rear subwoofer stopped working. When I took it to the dealer they said the amp terminals has corrosion because of water damage. So the warranty doesn't cover it. However there is no corrosion anywhere else in the trunk or in that area where the amp is located. The amp terminals look fried due to some high voltage arching.
Also its pretty hard for water to get where the amp is located in trunk. They also checked the trunk for leaks and couldn't find any. I felt like they were just giving me some poor excuse so that they don't have to fix it.
It just seems like poor workmanship to me
Here's what it looks like:

We used M.G. Chemicals Super Contact Cleaner with Poly Phenyl Ether to remedy these type of corrosion issues. I keep the Aerosol handy so whenever I pull a electrical harness or connection off-apart I spray some on for my peace of mind-it does not harm rubber or plastic. The Felt pen dries out to fast and does not fit into tight areas-not economical.
