Incorrect manuals

Has anyone else received the incorrect manuals on their 2014 e350. I received the incorrect owners manual and I never received the command manual. I did not now until I contact MBUSA about problems I was having with the owners manual. That is when I found out I was missing a command manual. If you do not receive it you do not know you are missing it! Bought the car from Motor Werks in Barrington IL. They said they ordered the correct manals for me over a week ago and they still have not come in. Should it take over a week to get parts for the Mercedes Benz? First Mercedes Benz I ever purchased and boy do I wish I bought from somewhere else.

You can immediately access both manuals on MBUSA.

They no longer supply the command manual per my sales guy but they still come with the C-class. So he pulled one from a C-class and mailed it to me. The command is pretty straight forward and intuitive but I do have the factory rear seat entertainment system and it can be a bit complicated although the only thing I needed the manual for was to show how to replace the batteries in the headphones. Ironically the manual was referencing the older style headphones not the ones my car came with so the manual did me no good.

Either way you can download the PDF file from MBUSA.

I'm also waiting for a manual for my new car........true the option to read is online, and it's entirety is also ON the HD of the car, but I like to be able to sit and read through it and go page to page on my own, versus sitting in front of a computer or in my car scrolling through ALL the info until I find something I'm looking for

arrie. I thought this forum was to help Mercedes benz owners with problems and to keep them informed about mercedes Benz. I am sorry that a manual problem is not what you think is appropriate. If you do not like the question don't answere. Others out there are helpful to new mercedes benz owners. We are not all old pros like you. The manual question is a legitimate problem for new owners that are trying to learn about there cars.

Owners manual # P6515-3564-13 Command Manual P6515-6982-13 Your sales guy is full of it. He just does not want to spend the money to order you the manuals.

E550
When I got my (new) E550 in 2011, the rep went in back to a big stack of manuals, brochures, etc., and assembled the correct set for me, including a case for them. Is that how it works everywhere?

IOW, the manuals may not be provided with the car --- the dealer fulfills them?

And I suspect if the dealer uses more than the number of cars sold, or some other quota, he has to pay for the excess manuals. Maybe he pays for all of them?

Interestingly, my User's Guide began falling apart at the binding. Dealer ordered another one --- no sweat.

And, yes, I think the COMAND manual is vital, and yes, I much prefer hard copy to reading the damn thing on a computer.
