I see mostly e63s have them. Nice little subtle piece that extends from front to back of car. Grayish?

E63 S-Model (excluding night package) rocker panel inserts. Wagon part #s are A 212 698 01 62 and A 212 698 02 62. I assume the sedan is the same but not positive.

I've ordered them for my E350 Wagon and will test fit soon.

Yes, it's a different part # for the black night package inserts. Hence my clarification in my original post.

Got them earlier than expected, I love the look! I think they tie in nicely with the beltline trim and the wheels.





They come with double-sided tape and molded clips, however, the clips won't work unless you also replace the rockers. I removed the clips and added extra double-sided tape.

 

Are these chrome or more of a matte grey? They look nice on a dark colored car.

Really wish they came with the 550 at least and the 350 with sport trim

 

Around $600 for the pair. They are satin chrome, the same color as the beltline moldings.

My side beltline moldings and door handle tops are chrome. I would think they should match the front chrome lip too.

Perhaps a good alternative is to have a vinyl wrap shop do that.

 

That was my original plan, but to be honest, the rocker panels look "right" now. With the indent, it always looked to me like there was something missing. I didn't feel that vinyl would give the finished look I sought.

 

Anyone else have these inserts or have additional pics or close ups? Im kind of on the fence with how these look.
