2014 - E350 - What size wheels to upgrade 19 or 20?

Hey guys - I have a friend who just purchased a 2014 E350...and she wants to lower it and upgrade the wheels.

Are you guys recommending a 19 inch or 20 inch?

Also...what are the tire sizes....and anyone have a picture with it lowered?

Thanks guys......

I have a CLS 63....with 20's...and I am trying to get her to that level with floss lol...

I mean... if you want to turn a nice car like that into a ghetto sled.... sure, throw some tacky 20" aftermarket wheels on there.

How is 20 inch wheels tacky? You just have to know what kind to get....custom built ones buddy with the right offset....and of course slam the car.

Yes....but I'm still trying to find out what size wheels would fit for that E-350.

E63's come with 19's stock right?

I'm thinking a 20x10 or 10.5 rear with a 20x8.5 or 9 in front.

Which rims are coming off? I maybe interested in those. I'm looking for some MB 660s.

I guess we can't all be as fortunate to be able to afford to live in such a desirable locale like philly.

If I lived in such a crappy town, I could probably spend the rest of my disposable income on the latest and greatest AMGs as well. Instead, I pay a ton of money to live in an actually nice city.

Also.. not sure if anyone who drives a harley should be making fun of others for being "old"

Come live in Cali...so you can make money and build a ghetto sled like mine.

You obviously don't know the car game bud.

20's will look perfect on our W212. Here are my specs on my wheels.

20x9 32et with 245/30/20 front and 20x10.5 42et with 275/30/20 lowered 2.25 inches with no finger gaps. It rubs a bit in the back with big dips. So perhaps 45et will be perfect or run 255/30/20 in the back. Because I have air suspension I have 3 height setting and I don't rub at all lowered 1.50. Hope this info helps in deciding your wheel specs. It took me 4 months of research to find the right specs since not a lot of members here lower their cars with 20's. My fitment above sits at more aggressive side.

By the way, is that your cls? Great looking wheels and stance. I am sure those specs are not too far from mines perhaps.

Do you have any pics you can post up? Yes..it's my CLS thank you. I think my offsets are +24 to +26.....and I had to slightly roll my fenders to ensure no type of rubbing even on big dips.

How did you lower your car? I'm not sure how the 2014's are set up. Is it spring or air?

Pretty sure spring unless you pay for the airmatic or whatever it's called. I have a 2010 E350 sedan, and 19s look great. I think 20s would look good as well. Anything past that, I think you are bordering on looking gaudy.

Wait...I'm sorry what???

If "ladies" date you, sleep with you, hang out with you, or whatever, because of the car you drive, I'm afraid to tell you, that is EXACTLY what they are... lol

I know right? I am 100% in agreement with you. Unfortunately, dem "gold diggers, ratchets, breezies, or whatever you want to call them do what they do and hustle for what they want.....

It's sad that they do that....but I don't mind supporting their wishes. It's a trade off.....

Yup you are right...20's are the perfect size. I just want to know the widths for the E-class.

Now if I had an S class...then 22's would be appropriate.

20's are good for E and CLS class

19's are good for C class.

You definitely would have to lower it to look bossy tho.

Thanks for the input.

Damn Dude, you're what they call, "A Hater". Just help the OP pick the right wheels and stop being so negative.

Back to the OP question. I had a friend who out 20 on his 212 and had a few scrubbing issues. I have no idea what size tire he was using though. And it's your/her car and likes. Put whatever you want to on it. Hell, paint them pink. Who cares. It's yours and your taste.

I have 19's and like them on the 212..was afraid to roll 20's, but I think they will also look good...here are a few pics of mine and yes I know it needs to be lowered

Also heres a fitment link. Should help with your offset and tire size decisions.....scroll way down to the w212 section....good luck ghetto man...lol
