2010 E Class Sedan 57K miles

2010 E Class Sedan 57K miles
I am looking at a 2010 E Class sedan, with like 57K miles. The car looks and feels like brand new, one owner car. Should it be a concern or a deal breaker, the mileage?

If the car has been properly maintained and you will do the same it should provide many years and miles of enjoyment. The W212 chassis is very solid. If you want to drive it for 200,000 miles I see no reason why it would not be up for the task. If you neglect the maintenance then all bets are off.

my 11 just hit 40k but as long as its been properly maintained you should be fine. another thing is if they have been highway miles vs city miles its easier on the car. if you aren't confident in looking it over yourself its worth the 200-300 bucks to have a pro take a look and give you their opinion before you make a purchase like that but overall I wouldn't be worried about 57k miles, mine feels like it will go to 200k.

With that many miles, there should be a long maintenance history that the owner should be able to show you. You can also ask local MB dealer to pull up the vehicle master inquiry to see what maintenance a MB dealer has done on it. Sometimes maintenance is reported to carfax also. If it has been well maintained, you should be fine.
There are extended warranties available if you need peace of mind. You should also take it to a mechanic with owner's permission to check the overall condition of the car for leaks, damage, etc. Most Indy's will check for free. An MB dealer will do a thorough inspection for some $.

I sold a 2010 W212 with 80 k miles and it was great. You may have the command knob rotation stop working but that is a real easy fix. It will work in up/down movements but the spin for zooming on the map etc does not work. That 2010 V6 motor is also easy to do plugs and air filters etc, normal maintenance. If its a V8, I would worry about an expense for the Airmatic outside of warranty.
