2014 Headlights in a 2011?

I saw a guy in a different forum do a complete face lift on a 2012 coupe. I'm just interested in the headlights... can you merely swap out the headlights?

I think the guy mentioned somewhere that he had to replace both the front bumper and headlights.

Simply from a common sense point of view your'll have to change the front bumper/grille as well since the headlights are now one piece per side instead of two. You may have to do the hood as well- not 100% sure.

All of this is doable, though. Just requires money.

IMO, 2012 front looks better, classic look. Plus, the cost was $10k, probably makes better since trading yours in for a 14.

Someone's already done it here... I remember a thread of a white E350 that coverted to a facelift E63 body. Plenty of flaming going on in that thread...

Looks great, but again cost prohibitive. Also, if you ever decided to sell your car, you would have to explain why your car looks different than every other E-class of the same year.
