Star VS No Star

Looks good with the white color btw.
Edit: pulled it up on my computer and now can tell the grills are different and the raised star is black. Didn't notice that on my phone. I would go with the second option but it's close for me. The star on the grill is hard to notice on the first grill and the chrome emblem above it looks more out of place. The second option really says 'black star' since it is raised. And looks better IMO without the chrome.
Are you planning on wrapping the window chrome? Someone posted about removing the bottom strip too. Looked pretty clean.
Too bad you can't add a pano roof...

Who I've never seen a blacked out raised star before! I'm not a fan of the big star in the front grill, I think the OEM one is the best look for this car. Did you black out the stock grill? Paint? Plastidip?

I did plasti dip since it comes off. Once i fully decide i'll paint it gloss black. Just trying different ideas.

I really wish vinyl wrapping was an option.... apparently, the heat given off from the radiator will cause vinyl wraps to bubble. I was going to wrap the grill in gunmetal.

Sweet ride. Raised black star looks real good there. BTW, just recieved my white side marker lenses. Even though I've watched a video, are they as simple to replace as shown?

NOOOOOO those videos are alllll BS! It took me almost 45 mins to install both. The problem was that the light has to sit between the outside and inside of the fender. What worked for me, I used a flat head and opened it a bit more then the headaache went away... GOOD LUCK

Flat badge and star in the grill. For me at least I can not stand the pop up star on any benz. Lots of opinions, good luck

I like the star on the hood for 2 reasons. 1) Sport vs Luxury - I'm not interested in ride quality that enables me to feel the road. The last thing I want to do is feel the road. What I would like is to not even know the road exists but to have crisp handling. 2) Seeing the star up there while driving down the road says to me, don't worry I won't let you down for at least another 300,000 miles. I prefer that to peering at the front of the car for the reminder.
