2011 E350 for 10th Anniversary
Hubby surprised me this weekend with a pristine 2011 E350 Iridium Silver/Ash sedan. It is getting SunTek paint protection by Thom from Pro-Tect Mobile out of Irving, TX this week. I am not driving it until again that is done as a rock chip occurred on the drive home!!!
Already looking at some minor mods...this is how addiction starts I think

And to think that I took my wife out for Chinese food! Good deal!! Congratulations and enjoy. The new(2010 forward) e class Mercedes are absolutely great cars, the best luxury sedans ever produced, IMO. They are reliable, drive great and are put together like tanks. While the 2011 has the smaller engine displacement(268hp versus 306hp) than the 2012, it is still a great engine/tranny combination. If you have never owned a Mercedes, these have the typical soft, slow responce throttle for very smooth acceleration. Some find that annoying but you just have to get used to hitting the accelerator harded to get the car going when need be, the engine has lots of torque and can take being stepped on. Also observe that the car always defaults to the econmoy mode(E) on the center console as opposed to the sports(S) mode every time you start the car. The economy mode starts the car in 2nd gear and gets you better MPG while the sport mode has meaningfully better performance, feels faster. Regards. Ned.
