Its got the coffee cup - I got that alert last weekend as I was driving through PA last weekend. Also displays the red triangle if you're getting close to hitting a car ahead of you.

My coffee cup is on all the time as soon as I start the engine ,judging by that it means Attention Assist is on ,if you don't see it then it must be turned off .
When it detects something wrong with you it throws a message like "Drowsiness Detected" .I know this because my driver drove it at night and he said he had seen a message like that above

My '11 E350 had the coffee cup on all the time to show it was enabled. It would add beeps and message if distracted driving was suspected.
My '14 does not show the coffee cup constantly even if it is enabled. The cup only shows along with the message and beep if distracted driving is suspected.
Regards,
Don

I would pay money to have it do that.
I remember working on an embedded system one time and it had an option
funprompts=0. For fun, I turned it on. Indeed the new prompts were quite good. I remember adding a few lines of code to the subroutine and the box came up "This program will require 2.3 DSPs. You currently have 2.0 DSPs. Either lower your expectations or buy more DSPs you cheap *******." I should have taken a screen cap of it. There were quite a few other funny ones buried in there.

Mine came on yesterday about 150 miles into a trip. The last hour or so had been on interstate using cruise control. Wasn't sleepy, but very well could have been inattentive.
