navi voice fade problem -- FIXED
Just noticed this
While navigating with Benz navi... The car will not fade the audio. Went to nav settings to ensure the setting was checked to fade audio but all audio sources do not fade when the ladies voice comes on to provide guidance
Any thoughts? Do I need a nav or comand update?

My 2010 fades it. Not sure if I set it or was done at factory.
I think you have to turn the volume down while she is actually speaking and then the system remembers this. Or that could be for her voice volume?
Call the dealership's service dept. and they can probably tell you how to do it. Or call MBUSA customer service.

After research on the forum it appears to be an uncommon but documented command bug and I'll have to have the dealership address it

If possible, maybe take note of what precisely was done before the problem occurred, so you could possibly duplicate it. It might help the programmers isolate the root cause easier to be sure it really is fixed (...someday anyway).
