2014 E63 S AMG
First Benz
Hi all! New to the forums. I just purchased a 2014 E63 S AMG and wanted to post a few pics. I'm in love with this car. This is my first of many Benzs I plan on owning. I was a little skeptic of going with the matte paint but I must say I do love the look.
New issue now is front license plate mounting as I'm completely against having them drill into the front bumper. Do I risk a ticket or tow hook mount it?

congrats on the sweet ride. I personally hate the front license plate. You need to move to another state.

Really nice and I love the paint. Make sure you educate yourself on the care and maintenance of matte paint. It's not the normal, set-it and forget-it mode of car wash and wax.

So they changed the exhaust tips to narrower (and wider?) design?
The face lift on the 212 I don't like that much as it looks like a space ship or something with 500 horses under the hood. But, on this one with an authentic AMG on the trunk lid it seems better (and it has the 500 horses under the hood, correct?).
I can NOT understand the front looks on the E350 or E250 or other weak engine cars, I could barely understand it on the E550.
But that is just me...

Matte paint doesn't show swirls. If cared for equally over 3 years, a matte paint car will look better than a gloss paint car. Stop by your Benz dealer and check out a used CLS550 Grand Edition or SL550 Night Edition.

I bought a lic. plate bracket for my Porsche from "Bumper Plugs" that screws on from underneath the bumper cover, leaving no visible holes. It is also adjustable for height and angle to avoid the lic. plated rubbing on the bumper cover.
