Just a quick questions guys. I am on the verge on purchasing a 2012 E350 4MATIC that has a Avant Garde Package (Sport) with a Premium 1 package. I have been looking into this car for a while and have noticed that all the sport packages I have looked at have a 3 spoke steering wheel. However, the current car I may be purchasing this weekend has a regular 4 spoke steering wheel (no wood grain).

The car is consistent with all other sport package features except for the steering wheel. Is there a reason for this? Are all of the E350's with this package supposed to have the 3 spoke? Some please help!

I have the Sport package w/ AMG body kit, the Advangarde package and I have the same steering wheel.

I always thought that all sport versions came with the 3 spoke wheel and that luxury E cars came with the 4 spoke wheel like the one in your picture, unless you have the luxury wood package which has wood trim in the 4 spoke wheel. I have a luxury E350 with the 4 spoke and wood trim in the wheel.

March 2012 production changeover from 4 spoke to 3 spoke wheel on sport models. It was a running change. No cause for alarm.

Get the VIN and check with your local dealer to verify it is the Sport.
It could be that the other wheel was an option which the previous owner did not go for.

I've seen both on sport models. I have the optional three spoke flat bottom wheel and love it.

Yes it seems that way but then again, the mighty VIN tells us all.
