Blood Pressure Reading?

So, whenever I hook up my seat belt, the automatic tension adjuster squeezes my torso for a couple seconds. Shouldn't there be a resulting blood pressure readout in the COMAND display?

Not sure if I hated the honking horn with door locking / unlocking more...

Regardless, I turned off the hug first thing followed by turning off the incessant honking.

The "welcome hug" is fine but have you ever experienced the "real hug" when the car thinks you are going to hit someone. Happened to me once when the car in front of me turned to a drive way and my Distronic though I will hit it. The belt scared me as it pulled in so strong.

Hmm... I don't have my car yet (December, hopefully)..but this concerns me slightly. I can't imagine this going well with a full bladder / need to use the bathroom type situation.

It's not bad at all (in case you were serious) and can be disabled in the OBC.

You can disable the pre-tensioning (welcome hug) but you cannot disable the real hug for the accident situation.

Understood. The OP's comment was about the automatic tensioning when buckling up.

Half serious... With all of the driving I do + my schedule, bathroom breaks don't always happen when I'd like them...driven with a full bladder more times than I care to remember. There's been a few close calls this month.
