What did you pay for your WAGON?

It is quite obvious the value, and pricing of Wagons is much different than the sedan or coupe.

That being said, what kind of deals are people working on Wagons? I understand Sedan buyers are seeing anywhere from at least 10-15% off MSRP.

I am looking at a 2014 E350 wagon with a $65K MSRP.

I personally would never buy a brand new wagon for family duty. I am on my 3rd E class wagon and I really do love these special cars. The current one is a 2011 4matic which I purchased for $37,000 from an MB dealer this July with 38000 miles and 2 years CPO warranty remaining. I want the safety, luxury, and utility without cringing so much when my kids beat the crap out of it!

The 2012 Jaguar XKR on the left is Daddy's true love and my kids have learned to take their shoes off before climbing in the back... Seriously.

When I bought my wagon last year I was able to negotiate $10k off, just like the sedans. My dealer claimed there were no difference incentive wise on wagon or sedan.

Several other dealers I contacted in the San Francisco area last year also said they had same incentive on wagon and sedans.

Within the first email we are about 5% off MSRP at $62300 + 300 (tax) + 199. Which he said is just $300 over invoice.

Thoughts?

That's about what I got over the first email. I then went in to the dealership, test drove the wagon they had on the lot. It had almost every option I wanted except lighting pkg.

I told the sales person that the wife said $10k off and we got a deal, anything less and we'll walk. he went to talk to his manager, 30 seconds later he comes back with a new offer sheet in hand and said ok we got a deal.

An hour later we signed the paperwork, gave them a check and drove off in the car at $10k off and a 7yr/75k mile extended warranty

Some dealers will prefer to deal in person. I live in a small town and the local MB dealer doesn't have an internet sales dept, thus I went in to do the real negotiations.

Very true.

I have sent about 8 dealers emails on 2014 Wagons asking what they can do. Only 1 was in state.

Lets see what happens!

I can't comment on prices but, man, those E class wagons are great looking cars. I would love to own one some day.

That's interesting... I got a 2011 E350 Wagon Sport P2 Pano Lighting with 37k miles for $37,500 before TT&L under the "unlimited mile" CPO special. The wagon is fantastic for kids!
