Changing standard 18" wheels with AMG Wheels :2011 E350 Sport 4Matic
All,
Newbie around here. Recently acquired a 2011 E350 4Matic, Sport, P1 Package with 12,800 miles. It came with standard 18" wheels but I was originally looking to get one with AMG Twin Spoke wheels. I couldn't get one the way I wanted and settled with standard wheels. Now, looking for expert opinions on changing the wheels. Not sure if it is as simple as just removing the existing ones and replacing with the AMG ones or bit more complicated. Appreciate your insights.
I am also open to consider a purchase of set of wheels if anyone happen to have the AMG wheels they wanted to sell.

Yup it's that easy. I strongly recommend OEM wheels and not replicas. I would also get a square setup (4 same sized wheels/tires) for your 4Matic as opposed to a staggard setup (wider in the rear).

Lots to consider before diving in.
Condition - Are they dinged, scraped, bent, etc?
Brand - Are you sure they're factory and not something else? What is stamped on the inside?
Wheel specs - In addition to the diameter what's the offset and width?
Tires - What brand, mileage, age and condition?
Accessories - Do they come with TPMS and/or center caps?

If you have pot holes, watch out. I have the AMG OEM wheels and they are not pot hole friendly.

$1400 sounds a little high. As comparison I'm selling W211 18" staggard AMG wheels off an E55 with Pilot Super Sport tires for $1000. There is a classified wheel section here that is usually better than eBay https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-tires-97/ Like JohnnyRad said make sure the offsets are correct.

The one's for sale off my W211 are staggard and wouldn't fit right, but should cost the same as what you're looking for. In other words I'd try to spend under $1200, unless the wheels are perfect and the tires are brand new.
BTW - I posted pics of my "new" W212 today. I think I have the wheels on it that you want - unfortunately they aren't for sale. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...hotoshoot.html
