Weather and Traffic info...
I see two weather-related data:
1. MB apps weather
- part of MB-apps (some monthly fee for MB-apps on top of yearly MBrace).
2. Sirius weather
- part of Sirius (shows as separate app but not under MB-apps).
They both seem similar but I think I prefer the Sirius version. Anyone know what level of Sirius subscription you need to get Sirius weather, or if it's a separate Sirius option/cost? Same question about Sirius traffic, while I'm at it.

IMO nothing beat WAZE for nav, traffic and automatic re-routing
I long for the day when an auto manufacturer allows me to install and display any ap of MY choosing. WAZE is the best today but who knows about tomorrow?

Have read about Mercedes introducing Apple CarPlay this year ...
Will be interesting to see if how it performs and if it can be integrated into existing systems.

Yes, the weather and traffic are available separately through XM / Sirius. Now that my complimentary / introductory subscription has lapsed, I'm not renewing either weather or traffic.
My phone is much simpler to access for a weather update.
Since I drive the same commute day in and day out, I didn't find any value in their traffic data.
The only reason I'd keep XM is for Howard 100, but that's a real stretch right now. I'm happily listening to my digital music library, which is nearly 1T in size. I've loaded a ton to my Music Register (what a slow process!) and have a number of older iPod Nanos to boot. When I tire of all this stuff, I'll be more receptive to paying for XM / Sirius.

Sirius weather shows current day high/low temp but also shows +3, +6 and +12 high/low temp. How can there be multiple high/low temps for the day? Maybe I'm not understanding.
