2015 E350 Sport Grill.. Meh..

Hey All-

Just picked up a black/black 2015 E350 Sport.. Not really feeling the sport front grill or lack of classic emblem that previously stood on front of hood..

Anyone else like it or had it grow on them?

Also, any way to swap it out for the classic grill and remove flat emblem for traditional one?

Anything is possible in terms of swap with $$$. Why did you buy the Sport if you did not like the grill? Lots of Luxury models available with the classic grill you seem to prefer.

I just picked up a 2015 Sport and actually like the look of the front grill, lights, and lower valence compared to my 2012 Sport returned.

Exactly, buy the car you like only after careful consideration. I'm sure your buyer's remorse will wear off gradually. If you really want to change it to traditional / luxury grill you can easily buy it, Or I suspect there may be some luxury model owners wanting to swap it for free.

You can take off the flat hood emblem and replace it with a stand up emblem. I have one in my garage. I would sell it if your interested. Its a very easy swap.

That involves front bumper swapping.

I recently traded a 2013 E350BT with AMG Sport package that had the traditional grill + star on the hood for a 2015 E250BT with Sport package (star in the grill). I wouldn't want to go back to the traditional grill. IMO, the new Sport package version looks so much better than the Luxury/Elegance version.

If you really want to swap out your grill, you would also have to change the entire front end, swap out the rear valance and bumper and swap out the rocker panels. In total, this would likely cost you several thousand $$$.

There are other grill designs available on ebay. But none of them convert the sport grill to the luxury grill. Maybe this one with the diamond grill treatment...

2015 E350-4M SPORT
I traded my '08 E350 for a new '15 E3504M Sport. I actually like the Sport much grill better than the old look, stodgy "luxury" grill and the hood ornament. That look, while classic, is a bit dated for my liking.

My thought would be that putting a "luxury" grill on a sport model would look out of place.

-->I have 2014 Black/Black E350 Luxury and I am looking to swap to sport. Not sure it is easy and if you already did but let me know if you find what to do. I have very low mileages.
