E350 MB Black on Black
amg rims replica

I in search of rims. I found some online and I wanted to get some feedback. I have a black e350 2010. Currently, I have the factory rims on and would like to spice it up some. I was able to talk the seller down to 700 from 850. He is selling the rims and tires together.

He advised he tires are 90% thread. The rims are very new. But of course they will say that.

He said it was on his cousins e350 but now are on his girls c class. He I selling because she is getting the S.

He said that the tires and rims would fit because they were on his cousin e350.

These are the specs

Front
255 30 20

Back
255 35 20

And they have all brand new sensors for the rims as well those were 500 dollars alone. What he told me.

Also, I don't wanna drive around looking crazy either, so I was hoping the MB family could give me their thoughts on the rims and the look.

So your eyes and thoughts are welcome.

I'm going to post the rims here and also some pics I found online with the same rima. Hopefully there the same. So many look so identical.

Rims for sale

Rims on the c class from seller

Googled a pic with same rims on the e350

I think these are the same rims

I would buy those in a heartbeat. I have a black '12 and looking to upgrade wheels as well. They should definitely fit nicely. I spoke to a wheel dealer a few weeks back and he recommended a similar setup.

Let me know if you don't buy. I would be interested in buying.

You should verify the offsets are correct. For 700 you can't loose too much considering they have tires and TPMS sensors (OEM cost $30 each on ebay vs 100+ at the dealer BTW). Do they have to be shipped are you paying shipping?

As far as being boring I think they look good. I (my wife) would destroy 20" (She already does a number on the 18s)

Is it a different type of driving?
Is it easier to scuff. I am a woman :-)

When you say offset what do you mean? So I can sound like I know what I am talking about when I call him back.

The offset of a wheel is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to the true centerline of the rim. A positive offset means the mounting surface of the wheel is positioned in front of the true centerline of the rim / tire assembly. This in effect brings the tire in to the fender well more. Conversely, a negative offset means the mounting surface of the wheel is behind the true centerline of the rim / tire assembly. This will cause the tire to stick out away from the vehicle.

The 255 30 20 and 255 35 20 is the tires size so ask what the wheel size is (obviously 20" diameter) This information is usually found inside the wheel.

http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator This will tell you how well it fits.

Stock E350 wheel size is Front 8.5" with a 48mm offset --- Rear 9" with a 54mm offset
Stock E63 wheels size (good idea of larger wheels) Front 9" with a 37mm offset --- Rear 9.5 54mm offset

So back to tire size. A 245 40 18 is a common stock size as you move to a 19" I would expect a 245 35 19 and then 20" 245 30 20. It's ok to add some additional width (the first number) espically to the rear - what I don't get is why you have a larger sidewall (second number) on the rears. Usually the rear has a larger width than the front say 265-285 so the sidewall may get reduced (a 285 30 20 will have a larger sidewall than a 255 30 20 because the sidewall is a ratio of the width and sidewall #). I have 245/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear on my C63 for example.

Thank you so much.... I found a better rim that I like. So now I'm trying to find it for a lesser price that. 1550 hopefully I'll be able to get them for the right size as you mentioned
