I know I've seen this somewhere...but for the last 24 hrs, I just can't find the old thread that provided the reference # or paper released from MB about this common problem.

I know there are people here smarter. Can anyone please provide a link?

Lots of people with "wind noise" or "whistling" from all over the car at various speeds. Mine is specifically above 80 mph from the dash, usually 90-95 mph. Very consistent. 2014 E 550. I just would like to approach the service center with at least one reference fix rather than go thru multiple failed trial and error attempts that end up wasting time.

Hi konigstiger, would you have any other suggestions for a fix? I gave this TSB to the dealer and I believed they followed it...installed a damper in front grill chrome. Didn't work, still whistles.

The first time they repaired mine, it didn't fix it. They certainly could hear it., however, they didn't use the material specified in the TSB, nor did they remove the front bumber as specified. He tried a quick fix and it didn't work. Then he decided to order the specified material and follow the TSB precisely and it has been silent ever since.
