E63 brakes on E350
Also, you are installing HUGE rotors with 6 piston calipers on a tiny brake master cylinder designed for brakes a fraction of that size. Also, the brake lines are stainless steel on the AMG's giving you even better brake feel. You will be overtaxing your master cylinder and won't be getting nowhere nearly enough brake clamping force as you should be.
Save yourself the money and do something different. If you are keen on having the brakes, get a Brembo setup designed for your car, you'll get much more performance.

Agree, one of the reasons i hesitated not getting AMG was super expensive brake job costs, our brakes are OK if you take vibrations part out

i'm not a mechanic and I had my brakes installed about 3 years ago but from what i remembered, it was pretty much a direct swap. the only thing i recall is having to use a different bolt somewhere but that was about it. stancelab has a w212 with the same swap as well so i'm sure they can give you better info about the installation.
everyone else is right about burning money. unless you can get parts at wholesale price, the front amg rotors had a price of 1500 for the pair. luckily i do get it pretty cheap so i have no regrets. my fav mod so far
Did your brake pedal change at all. I just noticed that after this swap the brake pedal goes almost to the floor... if I pump the pedal a couple times then it builds pressure but prior to that the pedal just about goes to the floor before the brakes engage...
This doesn't seem right at all... Did you change the master cylinder at all? Could that be the problem?
I see in the MB catalog that it states the e63 has an Enhanced AMG master cylinder? Everything I've researched said that the master cylinder is the same throughout e350, 500, 63..etc.

I checked the part numbers and the master cylinder is in fact the same. I called the dealer asking about it and to have the part number for it. Master cylinder is the same part number throughout the E class. Perhaps the brake booster is different but when researching that as well it turns up the same part number.
Which makes sense because MB uses they calipers on many models of cars and it seems like it's an upgrade people do including myself. Pretty much bolt on. I've yet to read any how to or DIY indicating a master cylinder needs changed/upgraded.

No idea. I have a 2015
E63 Brakes on E350 Sport.
Knuckles, master cylinder, brake booster are the same exact parts.
On rear rotors, you will have to adjust the e-brake shoes by 1/8".

1. Enlarge the 12mm holes on the spindles to accommodate the new 14mm bolts that the e55 caliper takes. OR buy AMG spindles at $300+ a pop... much easier to just enlarge stock spindle holes.
2. You will need to cut the brake dust shield. Takes all of 5 minutes with a dremel.
3. Replace rotors with e55. The are only $140 a pop of FCPEuro's page.
DO NOT use your stock e350 sport rotors with e55 calipers, they are too small. I posted on the other thread as well.
Also the brake pad sensors on the e350 will work 100% with the e55 calipers. They bolt right on just like before. Zero issues.
EDIT:
Actually seeing that you put e63... My bad, In that case if you use the 6 piston calipers you WILL have to replace the rotors to two piece. They are expensive. One of the reasons I went with e55's was because the rotors are cheap. I saw zero need for two piece rotors or the associated costs with them on a heavy *** MB... if this was a track car or track bike sure. If it's not going to see track time, personally spending $1800 for front rotors only is silly to me considering you can do an e55 swap for that as an entire package.
just food for thought.
