Replacing Fog and "Hockey" Bulbs - E550
I saw a YouTube video where you have to jack the car up, turn the wheel away, and remove the fender liner to replace the bulbs.
Is that how you do it?

Thanks.
P.S. Ignore those lip scrapes as they have been fixed - lol.
that youtube video you saw makes a lot of sense to replace the bulbs.
I think the lights look good.. lol..yes, one light was the wrong color and now the hockey ones are malfunctioning..fun fun!

It is weird that the Hockey lights were not in the position of where your round DRL/Fog lights are. That is where they should have been on the 550. I am not a fan of the round lights at all, which were typically only found on the 350 that way.

Will be buying one like that from eBay. I've been watching this one:

I have the 2010 with the AMG sport package. Maybe that's why with regards to the lights.
This was a common package on the 550, which I have as well. Those round lights cause me to suspect your front bumper was replaced and the owner just re-hung those LED lights inboard. Was this car in a frontal collision, by chance?

Also do a google image search of 2010 E550, and you will find cars with round lights..another example..

I do know that he "added" the hockey lights afterwards (after-market)
if that is not the case..I wonder why half of the hockey light is dim and the other half isn't..it's time for a flashlight and a shake of wires time i think..
The "hockey stick" lights came with cars with bi-xenons. And there is no ballast/resistor, the resistor is built into the LED housing.
wish u luck
