Looks like the exterior look will be disappointing.

The final exterior shape of the body panels are not finalized if you pay attention closely. I have a good feeling that it will look amazing. Plus the fact that they are keeping the M157 around is even better news to me.

The concept E-class looked badass, they should just put that into production, would probably sell like crazy.

The E Class will look just like the C and the S. So if you don't like the new design then start looking elsewhere for a new car.

A straight six is interesting, especially with the eventual 9 speed.

This is very strange. They just came out with the 3.0L tt for the 15 E400 and it will be replaced by the straight six in the 2017 model. What a waste of time and money, let alone supplying parts for an orphan engine after just 2 years.

Too early to tell with that much tacked on body panels.

This source has some less camoflaged pictures and also states the E63 (if called that) will be getting the 4L TT introduced in the AMG GT likely with HP improvements.

Yeah, that and also the ridiculous "i-tablet" mount on the dashboard (which makes it looks like an afterthought). I will say that I do like the look of the interior of the C class ex the tablet interface. The sweeped center console looks very modern and retro at the same time. If they use better materials, it would be a very nice evolution of the E class interior.
