I think he bought it bone stock and did all the mods himself. I reckon i came across his introductory post on the 212 pics thread not long. Come to think of it. He did mention all this mods hes doin but i havent seen any pics of his car AFTER the mods especially with the vogtland springs. Not that i care. This guys has always something to say about everything. More post, the faster he can get out of the newbie status.

What the hell is going on on here?... didn't even know this was happening until now after logging in.

Honestly I'm not even going to read all these comments but I do appreciate all the support ( from whoever is supporting me). The badge is staying on the car, and I did get my windows tinted today at 30% 👍

I can dig it. I've been going back & forth about tinting my windows. I think I'm going to do it eventually.

I have never tinted windows on my cars but I thought it's worth a shot. I did not want to go too dark so I went with 30% and I think it's perfect.

I had to remove the wheel and inner fender liner. Once the liner is off you have access to the back of the headlight.

Oh come on, you have to admit that the Hyundai wearing the Mercedes Halloween costume is funny as hell.

Looking good. I went 35% on mine all around. Really makes a difference. Any more mods coming? I'm waiting until winter passes to get some new wheels, but other than that I just want to get the chrome siding around the windows wrapped in black vinyl.

I bought my car with 15% tints. I'm not 100% sure on it but it's definitely way too dark. Almost dangerous a night driving on highway and switching lanes I have to double take often to make sure no one is there. I was told a much older guy was previous owner so I thinking he wanted to be concealed as much as possible. He was a lawyer from what I was told so maybe a Prosecutor avoiding payback or something lol.

For me it was between 30 and 35%, decided to go with 30. Its a good middle ground I think.

Next I want to paint my calipers, I already bought the paint. Just need to find entire day so I can do it with out rushing.
Maybe front bumper carbon fiber lip.
Maybe just maybe (not sure yet) I would like to lower it a little, maybe .5 - .75 inch. Not sure yet.

Yeh, thats one thing I did not want was to struggle seeing out of the window at night.

I have to go to a shop that can tell me the actual percentage cuz I swear it seems even darker than 15%. They use to not let you pass inspection with it that dark on the fronts in NJ, but when I took it to get inspected a couple of months ago. They didn't say anything. Lucky me I guess.

tinted mine at 30 IIRC. I don't think I could handle anything darker at night.

Looking good. I almost bought the same color car but with the camel colored interior. I'll be updating my car with some of the subtle updates you've done minus the AMG badging. lol.. let's keep beating the dead horse. Jk. It's your car.. do what you want but having owned an AMG before, I wouldn't but to each his own.

Throw on a roof spoiler and I think it would add a nice attribute. Maybe CF to match your trunk lip and diffuser you're thinking about.

Tint looks great at 30% and the clear markers are a nice touch. makes the car look clean! Did you get those off eBay as well with the chrome bulbs? How do they illuminate compared to the HIDs, more of a white or yellowish glow?

Yes I got the side markers with chrome bulbs on eBay. They glow yellow at night in order to be legal. Chrome tip is on there just so the yellow is not visible from the outside during the day. I'm not sure how they compare to LED bulbs.

I'm not sure about the carbon fiber roof lip... Can't make up my mind if I want to install one. As for carbon fiber diffuser that's something I might do a later on if I find one that fits nicely.

your car looks fantastic from this view

I'll always love those DRL's too, I've seen other car brands that have similar ones but none as tight as these, and only two years, they're easy to spot

So now I have all the parts I need to swap out the steering column and hopefully get all the buttons, the horn and paddles to work. As soon as I have time I will tackle the project.

Thank you.

I do like these DRL's lights as well. Im not sure what year they changed them to just straight line (maybe 2012 or 2013) but they don't look as unique as these ones with the little bent on the end. Maybe it just me....

Any way you can upload a pic from a night view?

Anyone else have insight on the led bulbs? I had clear markers on the C32 but didn't like that the bulbs glowed yellow instead of white.

not just you mate. i feel the same way. i have them on my sedan and coupe. MB first came up with that design and obviously others followed. imo it looks better especially when lit at night time.

Whoa, awesome! Let us know how it goes. Btw, if you don't mind, how much does an entire steering column cost?
