Fun factoid: E350 has the large battery up in front, whereas E63 has the small motorcycle size AGM up in front and large battery in back to balance out weight distro.

I believe the E550 has the battery in the back as well. Never had to replace or do anything to it but when I had a two tires blow out, I needed the tow piece from the trunk and I believe I saw it next to spare area.

My MY2010 E550 4Matic has the main battery up front in the engine compartment. My MY2004 E500 4Matic's main battery was in the trunk.

The last Buick Regal I had?
- Paid $100 for it
- Headliner was unstuck from the roof
- Bottom of car was rusted out and seat was lower, whenever I hit a speed bump, the car would bottom out and raise the seat
- AM/FM radio would randomly stop working, I would have to kick it
- Never was able to open the trunk -- could have been a dead body in it
- Car mysteriously drank power steering fluid
- Ran a few red lights due to brake fluid pressure not being consistent
- Car ran for a few weeks while low on oil
- Car finally died and got $50 for it from tow truck driver

This is not your grandfather's Buick commercial anymore.

2010 E350 Luxury Sedan, Engine 272 (V6)
Today's Buicks have a much higher reliability rating than MB. They are also highly rated by the independent rating organizations. Very well made, lots of features, reliable and lower cost to own.
The 4 cyl engines are somewhat underpowerd though.
The LaCross is more highly rated than the Regal and is closer to the "E" in size.
