Wifey started to fall in love with Lightning Package once she saw it and said this option is a must. Which also made the search challenging.
We believe we got a pretty good deal for the car especially when we finance the loan with the MB and received 2 complimentary services plus one month payment credit. We also received another complimentary oil+filter change brochure from the dealer.
This is our first MB and we are still trying learn all the functionalities. Wifey was still hesitate to drive it since she kept looking for the gear shift lever at the center like any other Japanese cars.

Thanks to all members who provided the tips and advise during our car hunting. Special thank to konigstiger who helped pulling the data card for multiple E350s that we had an eye on.
We love the car and hope it would be trouble free miles and miles ahead.
I also was searching for a needle in a haystack, finally found a car that was P2, Luxury and Diesel.
Someone else wanted the Ultimate Highway Cruiser.
congratulations! hope its the first of many MBs! goodluck and enjoy!
FWIW, I did the same thing and searched and waited for the right CPO with all the desired options including the Lighting Package and the all-important Heated Steering Wheel (really nice during a MN winter). No regrets for waiting.

). Blame me for not reading the manual but for some reason, I could not manually switch the headlights to high beam when I push the lever. If I pull the lever, the "flash" high beam works.
Push, and leave, the lever forward and you'll see a little headlight symbol with an "A" on the speedo display. The high beams will turn on and off automagically based on traffic conditions.

1: You can use your key fob to open and close your windows and sunroof. If your windows/sunroof is open and your outside of your car, point the key fob to lock and hold it there until it closes all the windows and sunroom. Hit the unlock and hold it there will open all widows and sunroof.
2: At a light or stop sign. Double tap your brake and a HOLD light will show up on your instrument cluster, once you see the hold light, you can let go of your brake while the car is in drive and just simply hit the gas once your ready to go.
Good luck.

We are still enjoying the moment where "We GOT a MERCEDES !". LOL !
At the same time, I am also nervous about the maintenance cost and repair that we will need to sustain to upkeep the car.
Another question that I have. What does the "Rear Fog" light actually do? There is a button on the side of the headlights switch. I notice there was a tiny LED light up on the driver side tail light and the front driver headlight seems to rotate to the left but I am not sure what the purpose is. I checked the manual but did not get a lot of info out of it.
are you handy with the tools? i do some of the maintenance on my cars and its really not that costly and relatively easy when you have average skills and tools to match.

I am pretty handy and I have been changing filter and engine oil on my Acura and SUV myself. I even did the Bilstein struts upgrade on my SUV.
The only concern I have is there will no record to the dealer when it comes to warranty work which might be related to the area(s) you maintain yourself. I know the dealer will need to proof that the work you did actually cause the issue but they would give you a lot of hard time anyway.
the coupe and 63 on the other hand has extended warranties on em so i have no choice but to take it to the dealer or an indy for the logbook stamp. its a bit pricier compared to other car brands but not enough to break the bank so dont worry too much and just enjoy the car mate.

To do this, you have to be within a few feet of the handle on the driver's door and to the rear of it.
Would recommend you thoroughly read the Operator's and COMAND Manuals, make notes, highlight parts, etc. Tremendous amount of information.
If 2014's still have Music Register, I found this to be a great feature. Assuming you have CD's to record to it. Takes about 15-20 minutes to record one CD. If interested, I have some tips on how to do it.
I would recommend you use the dealership as long as it is under warranty or maybe the first couple of services. The dealer should have a pre-paid maintenance plan.
You can DIY maintenance, but as you said, if anything goes wrong it's good not to get into a negotiating scenario as to whether maintenance was done to MB specs. or not.
Happy Motoring!

It's still cold and raining in Bay Area (Superbowl City). I will probably wait till the weather gets warmer before trying it out. Besides, I have just tinted the front and rear windows (and rear windshield) this morning and will need keep the windows up for at least 24 hours.
I used to collect CDs but now most of my tracks are on iTunes library and iPhone. I have read some folks have some issue with the bluetooth connections. I guess I will have find out.
