I was so surprised by the power of the E550. Love it and will eventually tune it. Right now I am desperately craving an exhaust and some H&R springs.

Anyway, I spent yesterday painting the grill and fog light housings black. I hate chrome so eventually I will get rid of all of it.

Here she is

Nice car but wouldn't it look even better if that grille was panted gloss instead of matt...? I think it would look better that way but this is just my opinion.

I thought of this. I am going to debadge, remove the side chrome and paint the rear chrome stip and see how it looks. If I like it, I will leave it, if not I will try gloss. The beauty of it is that it is plastidip so I can always return it to chrome

I never had that thing go off until one day I was digging in my back pocket while driving. I guess I was swerving a bit and it went off. I don't think it's quite as loud as it could be, but anything is better then nothing.

Just found out my car has keyless go, but I am missing the push button, do I need to get one or is there another way to start?

You can get the OEM boring button one from your dealer or fleaBay...

Or, consider getting something awesome from Eddie @ kallegamento@gmail.com

I tried both a red one and black one ... ultimately settled on the black carbon button. I'm a happy, satisfied customer.

Yes, nothing special about that button requiring the dealer to source it. There are no electronics, immobilizer chips or anything else. It is just a hunk of plastic that can be removed in a second if you want to use the key.

Debadged rear and sides yesterday! Still have some glue residue that I need to get out. Any good recommendations? I used wd-40 which got rid of almost all of it but you can still see the outline of the edges.

Goo Gone (or Goof-Off, there are other products that are similar) if there's anything solid left over; if you got all the solid glue off and are left with the "ghosting" then wash, clay bar, compound via orbital buffer, wax, then stand back and admire your work.

Also, for removing the glue, a heat gun does wonders.
