One of the cheapest and best interior mods ever!
Every E should have come like this from the factory...
Tools needed:
1. Scissors (to cut open the bag of parts)
2. Needle nose pliers or tweezers (to pull of the tape backing)

It took less than 5 min from start to finish. Totally great mod for less than $20 with shipping...now if only my pedals would get here already!

That looks really cool compared to before. Yes, all the post facelift models come with that aluminum finish seat controls. Where did you get the metal pedals from? Cost? How easy is that to install? Thanks.

How does it affect the night illuminated portion? Does the covers obstruct the illuminated band around seat buttons?

I definitely like this and will order them. I have the same concern with the illuminated band. I'm certain you can still see the glow underneath it though.

I did this upgrade and it doesn't cover the illuminated band.

b6tbfmp thanks for the photo, hard to see the illuminated band. Looking around, i think this may be an alternative option, you remove the switch instead.
