Just wondering, after pulling out of my driveway this morning I noticed I had no audio coming from my radio . It started fine but kind of muted the moment I put it into drive. So before I got going I backed back into my driveway to check it out, it was then I noticed my drivers side door wasn't completely closed, and also noticed there was no "door ajar or a light on the dash" telling me "yo bud, your door is open" Kinda strange.

I also found out the hard way what happens if you open your door at a red light to say dump out some cold coffee....lol...light turned green, I floored it...and well...you know what happened.....lol...the car automatically put itself into park...and I sat there vroom vrooming

You must have keyless go. When started with push button (i.e. key not inserted), the car will go into park from drive when driver door is opened. It's caught me before too.
