Another new driver
HI all,
I just picked up my first Benz, a 2011 E350 4-matic luxury P2 -nightvision-parktronic, with only 12600 miles on the clock. I have the service records from the dealer, it was only driven about 2500 miles per year. I just came over here from Audi and I have a couple questions.
#1-- Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the auto-on headlights so that they come on earlier or later and stay on longer or shorter times?
#2-- When I use the paddles and down shift, the instrument display shows M and the gear number. Is there a way for the gear number to show when the dar is in drive ?
Thanks for your time and good information that I got while researching the car.
Tom

Read the Operator's Manual carefully and make notes. Lots of information. Then read the COMAND Manual and make notes.
Mine does not show the gear when in drive.
If you use an automatic car wash, the kind with a conveyor system, read the section of the OM on how to place it in neutral and to turn the HVAC off. I made instruction sheet for my car that I leave on the seat for the attendant.
Happy Motoring!

Nightvision - that's pretty rare. How do you like it?
Sounds like a pretty loaded E350. Post some pics or it didn't happen.
