Need honest opinion on my rims
So, I would like your honest opinions on the rims that are currently on the car.
1) Should I keep and powdercoat? If so, what color? Glossy black? Gunmetal?
2) Should I buy new? If so, what color?
I appreciate all input.

Thanks!!

slap some 19's or 20's on that bad boy!
gunmetal, but you have to go all out, lower the car, get rid of the chrome bits, darker tint wouldnt hurt...
or silver for a more classy look.
chrome lip is ok but NO CHROME FINISH please, unless youre a pimp from the 80's.
just me.

I want to stick with 18s though. I will remove the chrome door trim for sure, but not sure yet about blacking out the chrome window trim. As far as tinting darker, I live in NY so can't get that frisky with the darkness but I'll investigate. I'm not sure if I want to murder out the car. Lowering not a good idea when you live in a snow state.
I am a noob when it comes to rims. The front tires on my car are 245/40/18 and the rears are 255/40/18. The back rims have a thicker lip than the front rims. How do I pick a set of 4 rims then? Sorry for the silly question. Of course the rim shop could explain this to me as well. But, not sure how to order from tirerack etc.

first, try to imagine what you want your car to look like and what style you wanna go for. colored wheels will look good if youre lowered and more. looks tacky especially if you wanna stick with 18's.
id vote for silver finish. theres a few designs you can go for when you google it...some good, some bad.

her's another search i did...

after you pick a design/look you want (which is the hardest part for me), next thing to do is get the specs (easy part). do you want an aggressive or conservative look?
PS: if you wanna stick with 18's, id suggest stockies.

I'd actually consider buying them off of you if they were 19s or 20s

If not,
The stock rims would look better IMHO
