New wheels - 2015 E Class with Rohnana RF2 wheels 19s (E350, E400, E250) offset 42mm
Hello guys - Thanks to this forum, the offset/wheel thread and people like ThreeMBs I was able to make my decision on my wheel/tire package. I put various models in the title, as this thread is mainly intended to help new W212 owners on help with wheels.
I have a 2015 W212 and my decision for wheels wasn't an easy one but I ended up with Rohana RF2 Matte Black Wheels in a 19x8.5 all around (center bore 66.56 and offset fro ALL four wheels of 42mm). The RF stands for Rotary Formed and the wheels weigh an amazing 20.86lbs - not a typo 20.86lbs per wheel. That was somewhat of an expected benefit and why I opted for Rohanas RF series wheels. Need for Speed MotorSports (N4SM) had a thread elsewhere, where N4SM posted up wheel weights and they list the 20x10 at a very light 22.85lbs. Pic attached.
THIS WHEEL/TIRE SETUP IS LIGHTER THAN MY OEM 18 SETUP.
I've included a screenshot of the specs and purchase. I purchased these for less than the shown price as they were originally fulfilled by Amazon C/O Rohana so they must have run out and now are carried by someone else - point is, the wheel specs are the same regardless of where purchased. The tires currently mounted on the Rohana wheels are Continental ExtremeContact DWS in a 255/35/19 size all around. No rubbing (ran up to 90MPH), full steering lock, no hiccups with the 4matic or traction control and the suspension is the stock OEM Sport Suspension (its lowered by 1" vs the Luxury models). Fitment is PERFECT to me, I wouldn't add or remove any MM to the wheel specs. Keep in mind that these are all 8.5" wide...if you choose a wider wheel then a different offset may apply.
I mentioned my wheel decision wasn't easy as this is a daily driver and I wanted to maintain some comfort, MPG, ability to rotate like OEM and I needed a relatively easily accessible wheel in case I dented/bent/cracked a wheel. I almost went with 20s because they look AMAZING but opted with 19s. I will say that about 2 weeks ago the better half ruined a tire (245/40/18 Continental) thanks to a friendly California pothole - I have a claim with the city in for a refund on the new tire.
That in part helped me choose 19s vs 20s - crappy LA/California streets
The point of the thread isn't just a "Hey look at me thread" as I hope this helps someone technically decide on their wheels, sizing and offsets just like y'all helped me along. I have custom 3 piece wheels that I hand refinished myself on 2 of my sports cars & aftermarket cast wheels on my 2 other cars so I'm very familiar with wheel offsets/sizing although I'm a tad new to Mercedes.
If it wasn't for this forum, I would've had a hell of a time figuring things out, so THANKS AGAIN!

lol they look very similar indeed maybe even identical and just different brands
but imo they do look great especially in person. i was goin for the gun metal but the mrs wants the silver finish. its on her coupe so yeah. all i wanted was a flat face look (no concave, no dish) and as aggressive as we can go to make the coupe wider in stance. came out alright i reckon.

Anyways hope the thread doesn't look like some kind of paid advertisement, I generally provide post like these on all the forums I'm on with regards to products I buy and when I don't like em or they fail I always mention it. Hopefully these wheels last but the tires so far are awesome as noted by other users.

Thank for the post. You help one person out right here as I am also thinking about new wheels. I am sure NYC street are not that much better, if not worse than LA, and you hit on all the same concern I have.

Being in LA and destroying one wheel on the 10 fwy, I'm thinking about making the jump to rotary forged wheels as well. Give us an update on how they hold up on our streets and potholes after some miles.

Thanks guys
Here is where the OEM tire blew out...it's about a 3 foot chuck missing from the street and the steel rod is actually exposed, that's what ripped a tire a few weeks ago at about 5am - been there for weeks despite the claim made

wow, i was up in the other benz forum looking for this exact kinda post and info, but no one would help me over there so i'm hoping you fine folks can share some of the knowledge you might have. i want to put 20s on my 2011 e550 4matic that i've already lowered with LoMo. while i've heard i could possibly go staggered, i think i wanna stay with an even set up all around so i can rotate the tires and what not. however, i can't figure out how wide i can go on the wheel width and offset without rubbing. i'm trying not to get stuck dropping the money and then getting stuck with wheels and tires that will make my car look like a jeep. so ANY help and advice you could share would greatly be appreciated. TIA!

anyways, i wont be too much of a help except that since you have a 4matic, a lot would say that a square set up is the way to go, you can do staggered if you wish at certain extent i reckon.
if you do some search on google, im sure youll find lots of info that will direct you here to MBWorld. goodluck mate!

I went out and stuck my hand around the suspension/tire and I’m sure 265s will clear

Greetings from Montreal!
I picked up my 2014 E250 Bluetec 4Matic in the spring after a lengthy search all over Canada. Finally found it 10km away at local MB dealership, pre-owned certified, only 42000km, and best of all 1.9% financing for 5 yrs.
Absolutely love the car and the amazing fuel economy for such a large, solid car.
No mods yet, and since our streets are pretty bad, wanted something stronger, like rotary/flow forged (forged are out of budget..) for summer wheels. Would love 20's , but realistically, sidewalls would be getting too low, will be uncomfortable and soon bend in our area.
I came across these Vossens and the different design appealed to me. Car is black with beige int,, sport package, intelligent LED's, and pano roof., so I think the Matte grey with tint will look good with the black (was also contemplating gloss silver...)
The look of the 19x8.5 et 42 Rohanna's on 255/35/19 looks great, and convinced me that is the way to go for me, thanks!
The Vossens will be 19x8.5 et 38 front (flat, or very little concave, as they tell me the front can't take concave) and 19x8.5 et 40 (deep concave) rear.
Will post pics once installed.

Finally installed, hybrid-forged Vossen HF-2 in tinted, matte gunmetal, 19 x 8.5 et 38 front (flat) and 19 x 8.5 et 40 rear (deep concave). Went with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires in 255/35/19.
Sits flush all around and gives the car a more aggressive look. Ride quality/comfort is actually better since car came with worn winters, and needless to say, tires grip like hell!
A big thanks to the guys at Vibe Motorsports. Helpful and easy transaction in getting the Vossens.

Update 3/11/2020:
California potholes beat down one of my 19" Rohana wheels after almost 4 years of abuse, slight barrel ding, holds air doesn't vibrate much as far as I can tell - I hadn't noticed but the tire shop caught it on the last rotation, will need straightening at some point soon.
Anyone running a 40 series on a 19" wheel, I know sounds stupid but these streets are garbage out here
