Blind Spot Assist - Retrofit

Blind Spot Assist - Retrofit
I want to put the Blind spot assistent in my car (W212 facelift).
I have the two sensors and wiring. Plus the two exterior mirrors + interior module (doors).
From what I saw in the original wiring my car (with parking sensors) has only one plug and wiring that has the blind spot has two.
I need some more module?
Where it connects wiring plug to the Blind Spot?
Of course lack programming.
I have all itens in the image.
This module is necessary?

The mirror glass is over $1k per side. When I removed/unplug the glass off the harness. A warming message on the dash stated that the blind spot is not working. Not sure what module you would need to interface the blind spot system.

as much as i love the blind spot assist feature on my cars,
for your own sake, i do hope that its as easy as install, reprogram and play.
otherwise, you may have wasted a lot of money for all those parts. .
should have done more research before buying the parts. means to an end.
goodluck and i hope things work out in your favor.

Ive done research after research on this retrofit its not even worth it, figured its just easier to drive the way everyone learned to by just looking over the shoulder.. although i imagine for the GL/GLS it should be super handy due to the length/size of the vehicle

in any car...sedan, coupe, suv, its pretty handy especially at night, raining and with a dark colored car right next to you. of course you still (always) look over your shoulder but with the conditions i mentioned, a lil help from the "blind spot assist" is just what you need. thats why MB called it "assist".

i wanted to add it to mine too, (the version with the triangles) but since purchasing my W166 i did my research and figured there's no reasonable way to add it without breaking the bank so the best thing to do is check to make sure it has it on the next model i get rather than figuring out some aftermarket BSA

I don't have it on my car, but it was on a couple loaners I've had, and I mostly used them to know the outer limits of the car... which translated to me cutting people off once the triangles went away, and zipping around traffic like a lunatic. Needless to say, I'm glad I don't have them in my car, because I would drive like a BMW owner if I did.

Exactly. I have the euro side mirrors too, so it's even easier to see. I've set up my mirrors so that if I can see both headlights of the cars behind me (either side), I'm good to come over.
