Congratulations on your purchase. I have been told that there is a penalty/surcharge if you purchase the CPO extension after 30 days by the F&I person that I bought mine from. Enjoy your new ride.

 

My car is a 2013 CPO wagon. I purchased it in 3/15. I was told that my warranty runs until 9/23/19 but no one at dealer ever told me there would a price difference if I waited to buy warranty later rather than at point of purchase. Should I be looking now for best price. In have about 25,000 miles on the car.

I had a 3rd party warranty through Paragon on my previous 2004 wagon and they were pretty good at covering most everything needed at my dealer in a timely manner during the time I had it and the car.

With your 3rd party, did you have to pay up front and they reimburse you, or do they just cover it completely? I'm looking to purchase another benz after mine got smashed and I'm interested in a extended warranty IF it's not a CPO. Now if it is a CPO do I HAVE to have all oil changes and maintenance done at the benz dealer and what are those cost like?

 

I paid the premium monthly and I am pretty sure that they started to pay out claims before premium was paid off if I recall. We are going back too far for me to remember specifics. Here's the person who I got the warranty through and I got his name by an indy MB shop where I live. I assume this is still his contact info. I bought the best one I could get and felt I got value for what I paid in. It was used for some big-ticket repairs.

Which vendors are you getting quotes from on these warranties? I just picked up my 2014 E350 last week with 23K and I still have 22 months left (or miles) but I plan on keeping it much longer. Would like to look into the warranty options. Thanks.
