Bimmer Guru Video In Motion
Has anyone had any experience with the Bimmer Guru's Video In Motion DVD Unlock? I like the fact that there are no components to install and the price isn't too bad.

Not sure if they are the same but they do both use the same demonstration video. The bimmerguru offers a $50 discount if you record the installation process.

Alex from BimmerGuru was amazing! I placed the order at 10:00pm Saturday night and had the email with the Unlock Key by 4:18am Sunday morning. The hardest part of the installation was locating my external DVD burner for my MacBookPro since it doesn't have a drive built in. The installation process went flawlessly and the I could not be happier.

Alex was awesome and extremely fast on my order as well. This was my first mod and I love it, works flawlessly in my 2013 e550 cab as well. I use www.videograbber.net to pull hd video off YouTube and convertxtodvd5 to make video discs to play. Sound awesome and passengers love watching music videos. Hope this helps.

Does this actually update maps as well? I don't need video-in-motion, but DIY updated maps would be awesome. I can't get to the BimmerGuru site since it's blocked at work lol

It does not update the map content- it only unlocks the video sources so they can be used while the vehicle is in motion.
