Yes i used laminx. I did it myself. But where the grooves are on the headlights it doesn't seem to want to stay adhered to the light causing air bubble. I've put small pin holes on the bottom of the bubble to deflate it and restick it. But it usually gets water on the bubble when it rains. Not sure if professional install would help with it or not. Im trying to find some junk headlights to see how hard these are to take apart (I've done other car model headlights that were easy to separate and reseal) paint inside instead of laminex for the front.

Nice! I am planning to black out my 2013. Still undecided if I am going to remove the chrome trim that came with it. Did you also use laminx on the tail lights?

Yes laminX on tails. The chrome pieces around the door pop off so you can paint them. Just don't bend or tweak them when you pull them off.
