Wheel refinishing cost?
Unfortunately, curb rash is sometimes inevitable.
I was quoted $175 to refinish a wheel. Is that in the ballpark?
Thanks!

The dealership refinished my two front 18" AMGs and they look like new. Considering how much the wheels cost new- I'd gladly pay $175 if it gets the results I have.

Depends on competition in your area
There are several companies that do it here in Vegas and the cost is about $100. It also depends on the damage level. If the rash is all the way around and/or very deep it will cost more

So I'm seeing that the quote I got, which was from the dealer, is likely at the upper end. I get that. I know they don't do the work themselves (its subbed out) and they have got to earn their shekels too. I suppose I can wat until I have other work to do and there is some sort of coupon floating around.

$150 per wheel for straightening and color change. I went from the bright silver alloy finish to a bit different darker look. There were some cost variations on local (Houston) companies but I picked the one with the best track record, for the slight cost difference I thought it worthwhile to not necessarily go with low bidder. Been bitten by that one before...
