suggestions on where to get Rims ? two of mine are bent 😒
I've Noticed that at 60mph and 80mph i have small vibration in the front end and the steering wheel. took it to a friend of mine who is a mechanic and he said two of the Rims are bent a little. he balanced them out and put them on the rear but i still get a small vibration. I'm sure some of have had the same issue? any suggestions on where to get Rims? i only need two, unless i can find a place that can bend them back?

You should have the dealer you just bought the car from replace or fix them. Don't they have some kind of 30 day warranty at least? Sounds to me like you bought a car that needs work and I hate to see you continue to post here with additional problems. Have them fix the seat and repair the wheels.

I'm amazed at the number of bent rim posts on this board

So to give a little background, i bought my E350 from a luxory dealer and it was brought in by an elderly lady. i am a perfectionist when it comes to cars so id like the car to be flawless. it has 66k on it and i know it won't be perfect but I'm trying. it was last serviced at MB 20,000 ago and engine wise, body wise, the car is great. but its just my one seat, the faded trim and the slight bent rims. It also has the AMG package so I actually made an appointment to have the rims fixed and refinished. they are charging me $119 per wheel. so once these " little issues get fixed, i can actually enjoy posting on how to modify the car next lol

I know, we are all like that and these cars are designed to run at 140 on the autobahn all day with no vibrations, so we are annoyed when there is a hiccup. I just hope your mechanic friend is right and it is just a wheel issue and nothing more. There are many things that cause these cars to vibrate at speed beyond an imbalanced or bent wheel. I looked at your intro photo and those are not AMG wheels, at least not ones I have ever seen.

here is the link of the vehicle, so you see what the description read. wasn't making it up, i guess they were wrong in the description. and i Hope so too, i hope its nothing more then a bent rim. process of elimination at this point i suppose.

You can enter and decode your VIN here:
http://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Mercedes-Benz
There is no information in your Datacard indicating any AMG package.
Code 772 is the AMG styling package
Code 781 is the AMG double spoke wheels
Code 951 is the Sport package
Your car is listed with Code 955-Equipment Package Elegance
Your wheel code is R11-17" Light alloy wheel 5 double spoke design
The 17" wheel should be pretty stout in terms of pothole damage and not as susceptible to being bent as the 18" AMG wheels. I have bent many 18" wheels here in pothole central Chicago.

Key08 thank you very much for all of that info. Still new to the MB world but I'm learning quickly. I have no idea where the previous lady went with the car that two of them are slightly bent but I might as well get them taken care of now. I'll have it going 100+ smoothly in no time

I know you will. It is a beautiful looking ride and there is a lot of help here if you have any issues as you have already seen. Lots of enthusiasts.

I thought those were 17's from your first post, I have a set of 4 that were brand new take offs I got about 2 years ago when I bought my car. All these folks upgrading their oem rims, gotta love it. I paid 400 for the set with a 6 hour round trip to go get them. I'm still waiting for my current 18" tires to wear out, and I will swap them out.
You may find a set or pair locally, look on craigslist locally and within driving range and do a search for "Mercedes rims". You might want to get 4 and get some snows mounted on the old set since you live up in the snow belt. They are also on ebay, but they can get expensive that way.

I have bought reconditioned ones from EBAY[
plain used ones often bent if not reconditioned.
small unperceptible bends- even to balancers- can cause vibrations above 60 mph
