Airmatic without engine running?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the airmatic compressor to run without the engine running in accy mode? The reason being is my car needs to have the engine replaced however the car has started sagging in the rear after sitting for a week. It's so low that the rear end is going to scrape the ground when its lowered off the flatbed. Does anyone know how to engage the airmatic system without running the engine?

I found one post on another form from a W220/S500 where he had to remove 3 fuses from the instrument cluster and the pump started running. I'm looking for a way to possibly do this without using Xentry

Try applying 12v directly to the compressor.

THAT ^ probably would be a good idea, and most likely the only one available at this point.

make sure you find the right Positive and negative terminals , not to burn anything.

Why can't you just turn the key to pos 2 with the battery fully charged and push the "raise" button? I didn't think the car needed to be running for the Airmatic system to realize it was in need of a pump up. I've had two Airmatic cars, but I guess I have not had a blown motor, so I could be all wet here.

Our compressors run even when the car is completely shut off to level the suspension as you walk away, or any time it feels like raising or lowering the car. Not sure why the motor has to be running.

NOPE!!
went to check and just like i thought it wouldnt do shi*
pushed the button to 2nd position , and tried switching it to comfort (it was in sport right before i shut the car down) and it woudnt do nothing NOR raise vehicle button worked.
so i guess the car has to be on which isnt an option for i700plus.

My 2010 E550 does not run the compressor if the power is not on. If it did I would not have noticed the leak on the springs when the rear of the car went down after the car was sitting over night or longer. If the compressor was working with power off then the car would have been leveled or the battery would have been dead when the rear was down.

My car makes hissing sound after drive when I stop and get out and close the door. This is because driving pulls the car down so the system puts more air in the springs to keep the level. When driving stops the car raises up and when the engine is shut the car lets air out of the springs to get it back to correct level.

Did you ever find out how to raise the car without starting the engine? I've got a S600 with a blown engine that I'm trying to lift.

I never did find a way. I just made sure the flatbed had extra ramps and ended up with about 1/2 inch of clearance.
