Nobody really cares, but to me I always prefer the stock look. You asked for opinions and you got them. To me it just screams Hey I'm a doofus and please pull me over. I just shake my head and think, there's a guy with too much time and too much money on his hands. But it's your car, as everyone else says, do whatever you want.
Why didn't you put the E63 badge on? The E550 never had an AMG badge which is why you're getting a bad reaction in addition to the other things you've done to it.
Anyway looks horrible, I wonder what will happen if you get into an accident and the guy says that the car was all blacked out and he couldn't see you.

did the black out look on my SLK once and I woudnt do it again.
having said that, i like what you did to your 212. if that was me but, I would lower the car a lil, take the racing stripe and the AMG badge off. but like i said, if that was me.
its your car. you can put whatever you want in and on it. some are ok with it and some dont like it. but when you post pics in an internet forum, you open your car to compliments and criticisms. just be sure youre ready to take both.

I have a set of KMC Rockstars that are going on it when I get back. I work out of the country a lot and ran out of time before I had to go back to work. The fake AMG badge was 20 bucks on Amazon and we slapped it on because I have no couth. I've got a Vivid badge that's being custom made for the car but isn't done yet. Black of course lol There are still little bits here and there to be done but it's 90% finished. The photo below was about 6 months ago before I installed the front grille. All black cars are kinda the thing right now in south Florida if you're under 23 years old.
Fixed it for you.... Bro.

It's not that big of a deal to me what people do with their rides. I'm to busy worrying about myself to stress over others. I must admit, I'm about to get my popcorn and follow the thread as it builds Lol.
