automatic high beam

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the auto-off high beams so that if you flick the stalk out the high beams will turn on even if there are cars in front of you?

I think there's an option in the dash menu to turn off the auto-leveling beam assist option, but I think it also disables the active curve illumination function too. Haven't messed with it, so idk.

OK, hmm. I'm asking because it was turned off in our car, and I couldn't figure out how to re-enable it. I actually (usually) like that feature. If anyone knows, help out someone too dumb to resolve it himself.

Yes, it is an option in the center cluster menu, under lights. I believe it's called Adaptive Highbeam Assist.

No AMG unfortunately, and we'll just leave it as that
If you need to revert to conventional stalk behavior, without going through the center cluster menu configuration, simply turn the light switch clockwise one click to "ON" (designated by icon for low beam) from "Auto". This will temporarily override whatever Adaptive Highbeam Assist setup you have and result in "pull to flash" and "push for constant high beam".

My car, a 2014 wagon, does not have this setting option.

And this was the answer. Someone had turned the switch to the right instead of leaving it at AUTO. Believe this will solve things. Thanks!
