360° camera - Accessing front camera

So my car has parktronic with the 360° camera system. I understand when you put the car in reverse the back up camera automatically comes on. In the case of parallel parking, when you switch from reverse to drive, the front camera turns on. My question is how about if I am pulling into a normal parking spot, front first and I want to know how close I am to the wheel stop or rear bumper of the car in front of me like when pulling into a parking lot. I read something about pressing the SYS button, but without having my car yet I am just asking questions now.

Yes, you can press the sys button and toggle to the camera. It's actually pretty good at viewing the concrete bumpers. The Parktronic system is excellent also once you get used to it. This is my 3rd Parktronic MB and some say the system is dated. I think it is superior still to other radar systems out there.

^^^ and I used the * (fav) option to put camera.
BTW, the cameras will work less than 17 or 19mph only.

When I used it for the first time(after resetting to factory settings), I got 3 options to choose from, I thought that is great, when I actually set the fav, I have only one option. May be I wasn't reading what those 3 options were, at first.
Anyway, glad we could help.

Th easiest way to access the camera system without putting it in reverse is to press the "Favorites" button on your center console which is in the shape of star. This will bring up your Navi - Media - 360 Camera etc. I use it all the time.

The system works until 11 mph then shuts off.

If you press the "vehicle" button and hold it then you will automatically get to your camera functions

Just tried it with a 2017 C300 in the showroom
