Two more newbie 2015 E350 questions, please
Thanks in advance.

What's the little battery in the trunk (under the spare tire) for?

How do I remove the front floor mats? There are two round buttons near the seats. Do they unscrew?

Question 2: Just pull on it and it pops out. It's a securing mechanism.

The floor mats should just snap off if you pull hard enough.

It's to fix those unintended acceleration problems that are caused by the mat moving freely and getting jammed under the accelerator or brake. Same reason why you have to put your foot on the brake to shift out of park, too much operator error in the past.

Thanks guys, how about the little button on the dash next to the round light switch?

When I press it a light icon lights up in the dash next to the other light icons, but I don't see anything happening.

Fog light. It illuminates the one fog light in the left rear tail lamp.
pretty soon we are going to ask if your car came with an owner's manual.... LOL

That's a lot more than two more questions

The battery in the trunk I believe is for Airmatic... the one in the dash is for the Eco stop/start and brake hold.

Thanks, the owners manual like the car is over engineered

There's no easy way to turn off the radio, but there's a button that lights up to tiny red led lights behind the driver. I'm loving all the cool stuff this car can do.

You don't really need to turn off the radio. Just mute it. There is a mute button you can push on the right side of the steering wheel.
