replacing oil cooler (parts help)

title says it all. I have a e320 with 106k miles.

I am having my dealer swap out my oil cooler seals and I need a list of parts that should be changed out while they are in there.

I have this list and I am not sure if that is all I need?

Also, do I need to get a new oil cooler or should I keep the one I have?

I will also add the turbo gasket.. but is there anything else I need replaced or will need to be replaced in the next 100k miles?

You can cross-reference it with this kit from FCP Euro: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...kit-om642rrkit

You don't need a new oil cooler. There is no moving parts.

woah, those are a lot of parts. are those all recommended to be changed? I was thinking about going to the MB dealership to pick up these parts. Is there a better place online?

It's a lot but it's mostly little seals and o-rings, and the bolts you can't re-use. The job is very tedious but not terribly difficult if the turbo bolts don't break off. Cleaning takes time, but it's not a bad job.

With you car's age and mileage, it is best to replace them. IDParts sells a smaller kit which includes the vital gaskets and seals: http://www.idparts.com/oil-cooler-se...42-p-5146.html

That's a big difference in parts and price. So since my car is 10 years old and has 106k miles, do you think the big kit is a better idea? It looks like the small kit has really everything that needs to be replaced?

Is the "Mercedes Engine Crankcase Vent Valve" and "Mercedes Engine Intake Manifold Actuator" necessary to replace and are they easily replaced when doing the oil cooler job?

What about the "Mercedes Exhaust Bracket"?

I am looking at all the items the small kit does not include and am worried that those parts will be "extra" labor to replace since its not directly int he "path" of getting to the oil cooler seals? Can anyone confirm? Is it a big deal by going with the small kit instead of the big one?.. and if I go with the small kit I will get new bolts. Anything else?(the big kit seems overkill)

Thank you guys for your expertise.

No, those pricer parts are not necessary for an oil cooler job. However, they are known areas to leak oil, abet very slowly to a point of being a non-issue. If your current parts looks fine, then don't bother replacing them.
